Rollie Pollie Ollie

Kelsie has been rolling over for about a week now! She rolls from her back to her stomach! No more leaving her on beds and couches. She's mobile! Hopefully not mobile enough that she will be able to get to the Christmas tree when we put it up. Her eye hand coordination is getting better everyday. She grabs anything and everything that is within her reach, especially hair! She's really good at grabbing stuff off your plate when you're not watching. She's growing up so fast! She has such a sweet spirit about her! She is always so content. We didn't even know she could be fussy until last week when her teeth started coming in. But 99% of the time she is always smiling, and has started to laugh when her dad tickles her. We love her lots!!!!!

Look at that gappy smile!

Things are falling out everwhere!

Brielle just lost her third tooth. This time it's her front tooth! She was eating a carrot, and it just popped out!! And better yet the other one is just hanging on for dear life. Jason keeps telling her it won't be long until you can sing, "ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS MY TWO FRONT TEETH!" While we were doing our regular tooth check we discovered that she has two other teeth that are so loose they are almost ready to just fall out when she sneezes. The poor girl won't have any teeth to eat Thanksgiving dinner with at the rate her teeth are falling out!

Fall Fun!

We have been so busy with all the fun fall events around our house, I haven't had time to even write about it. We were invited to a Pumpkin Walk for family home evening the Monday before Halloween. The whole big town of Firth was invited! One of the events was a pumpkin carving contest. Brielle and I scoped out the internet for carving ideas, and when we found the perfect one Brielle carved it the best she could. We took it over before the party started so it could be judged. Later that night when it got dark we to the party. They had made a windy walkway of glowing pumpkins. After we walked through they had a maze for big kids and little kids. Brielle and Uncle Tommy went through the big kids maze and Carter went in the other. That was pretty exciting for Carter, since it was totally dark and he could run anywhere he wanted. As the night started to wind down went to get treats. They had a big wheel that you spun to see what treat you got. Brielle and Carter both got the coveted caramel and white chocolate covered apple. The rest of us got cookies and rice crispy treats. They also had the best hot chocolate! After we chatted with some good friends we headed home. The next day when we returned home from town, we found our pumpkin on our front porch with a letter and a prize attached. Brielle had won the kids carving contest. She was so excited she had to tell anyone she saw, many times!!!!!!! Thanks Christensens for a night of great fun!
